I cannot recommend this book enough.

A fantastic insight into how the game has developed from the early days. It looks at th Austrian Wunderteam of the 1930's, the Magnificant Magyars in the 1950's, Brazilian Football, the Dutch 1970's team, the advent of 3-5-2 and the reason why players like Michael Owen are becomming more and more extinct.

Really has opened my eyes up to what I am looking at on a Saturday afternoon at the Mem!

The fox in the box. Cracking finisher, but they offer hardly anything else to the team.

Reading this book at the moment. Intresting to read about the teams playing 1-2-7 in the old, old days :girliegiggle:
