Ahead of this weekend's Hong Kong Soccer Sevens tournament, a squad including the likes of Martyn Waghorn, Conrad Logan, Cian Bolger and Tom Parkes have been taking in the sights of the Thai capital Bangkok, at the invitation of the Club's owners Vichai and Aiyawatt Raksriaksorn.

The travelling party departs for Hong Kong on Wednesday for this weekend's competition, before returning to Thailand for a friendly against Thai Premier League outfit Pattaya United on Tuesday.

From the moment they touched down in Bangkok on Monday, the group have enjoyed a packed schedule in the Thai capital, absorbing some Thai culture while beginning to acclimatise to the hot conditions they will be competing in come the weekend.

Two things stand out in my mind personally

Price & quality of the food
Half time entertainment

A penalty shootout always goes down well at half time, and not dancers or singers, as people rarely ever pay attention too it.
Food needs to go down in price dramatically in my opinion. £3 for a pasty is outrageous, and it's awful.

With Anyinsah not being released, does anyone think he can force his way back in the team or do you think McGhee will look to sell him/let him go on a free to anyone who thinks he is worth a gamble?

Personally, I think a fit Joe would be a great player for us... I just have my doubts whether he actually wants to play for us after his woeful end of season performances (especially the Torquay game )

Watching torquay v cheltenham.. Chelts right winger looks a good prospect! I predict crewe will go up so maybe a cheeky bid for this bloke? Will be a handfull with muzzy on the otherside!

Clark Carlisle was on talk sport today and is looking for a new club after being released by Burnley. He finished the season on loan at Northampton and helped them stay up.I think he would be a great signing. He would be a supurb captain and a excellent player to have on the pitch and in the changing room. He also stated that he would play in any part of the country.

I am slightly concerned by Mark saying that Byron was unlucky to leave as he is out of contract but those contracted boys get some luck as they get a second chance..... Hope this doesn't mean we see Anyinsah or Zebroski still here next season...
